ÁLVARO MÁRQUEZ GONZÁLEZ

Bachelor at 1992 and Ph.D. at 1999 in Geology in the Universidad Complutense (UCM; Madrid, Spain). I made my Ph.D. Thesis (Tecto-volcanic relationships in the central Mexican Volcanic belt: the Sierra Chichinautzin volcanic field) in the R+D Dpt. Infocarto S.A. and the Petrology & Geochemistry Dpt. UCM. I had a post-doc grant from 1999 to 2011 at the Astrobiology Center (INTA-CSIC; Torrejon de Ardoz, Spain). At September 2011 I become member of the Geology Area of the Universidad Rey Carlos (URJC; Móstoles, Spain). Finally, at July 2021 I move to the Petrology Area of the UCM. Since 2014 I am working at my main present research lines about Structure-Evolution and Deformation-Instability of volcanic edifices, mainly at the canarian islands of Tenerife, La Gomera and La Palma.
