FIDEL MARTÍN GONZÁLEZ

FM2.jpg

Fidel Martín-González works in the Department of Biology, Geology, Physics and Inorganic Chemistry of the Rey Juan Carlos University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Geology from the Complutense University of Madrid in the Department of Geodynamics and Structural Geology. His main research lines include tectonics, structural geology, neotectonics, paleoseismology and archaeosismology, as well as tectonic geomorphology. He has worked mainly in the Iberian Peninsula, in the Chilean and Argentine Andes and in New Zealand. His current research projects focus on characterizing the main faults and the tectonic evolution of the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula and structural mapping and geodynamic evolution of the Andes.
